October is always a big month in our household with school holidays, our wedding anniversary and two birthday parties to organise, but this year is an especially big deal for us as our kids are turning fourteen – that magical milestone when they can be legally unsupervised. News that the Waiwera hot pools rebuild is likely to go ahead couldn’t have come at a better time as I imagine what their teen years may look like on the Coast.
